I adore this image…

 

To me it represents a constant nudge in the ribs to stop looking for the rules and instead design personal disciplines that indeed others might choose to unquestioningly follow. If one is to live a life of ordered mediocrity it is necessary to read every rule book and imbibe the acres of typed bossiness that keeps the majority firmly in their place.

But all my heroes share that uncommon ability to walk blithely out of the door marked ‘Entrance’ and to yodel when everyone else is baa-ing.
