Decluttering Tip For Simpler Living
It’s a New Year!
Decluttering is a great way to start a fresh new year, or a fresh new anything.

It is great for releasing stress and is an indication that you mean business as far as being in control of your life and all that it contains is concerned.
Tip: Attack The Furniture!
Decide which home furniture is surplus to your needs. Get some Bare White Space working chez vous.
To obtain calming Bare White Space let go of furniture that does nothing to promote this.
Just let it go!
By getting rid of large items of furniture you then have to also address anything on top or in them.
You might find in the process that, if you are being honest with yourself, you have not used any thing inside certain pieces of furniture for more than a year, (whisper) and you never will!…You know what to do!
Plain. Simple.
Wenshuai Liu brings us this innovative chair creating utilitarian design where plain oxygen normally sits. Easy on the eye and the simple storage concept is useful for keeping visual lines uncluttered and ‘clean’ with your favourite book at arms length.
I believe this is only at conceptual stage so I cannot provide a link.
Make It A Feature!
I love the idea of making a simple feature of recycling. If one is to do it at all, do it with panache! Dedicate a corner to it and make it ABC simple to do with neat, stylish, labeled receptacles, (bought or hand made), rather than untidy, half broken crates and heaving cardboard boxes, or various inappropriate bags spilling out their contents as they wait for the weekly empty. These particular bins are from Brabantia.
The sticky-back lettering can be bought, (or made) from any reputable hardware or DIY store. The inside-lid artistry is up to you!
Little Things
The Bobino cable organiser comes in three sizes to organise the itsy bitsy wire stuff like your Ipod cable. The medium wire stuff like your Apple Mac USB chords. Then the bigger wire stuff such as your larger item extension cords. Available in many colours.
Simple, cheap, easy.
